This notice explains how Private Lending Group, a direct lender, collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information in connection with credit applications and loans.

1. Scope and financial privacy

This Policy applies to information collected through our website, application forms, communications, underwriting, account servicing, and related services. Because Private Lending Group offers financial products, additional federal or state privacy notices may apply. We will provide any required financial privacy notice when and as required by law.

Our commitment: We do not sell application information to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. We use and disclose information to process, underwrite, fund, service, protect, and administer credit, and as otherwise permitted or required by law.

2. Information we collect

  • Identifiers and contact information, such as name, email, telephone number, address, date of birth, and government identifiers when requested through an appropriately secured process.
  • Application and financial information, such as income, employment, housing information, desired loan amount, loan purpose, bank or payment information, and information supporting identity or income verification.
  • Credit information, including consumer-report information obtained with authorization or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Communications and consent records, including messages, support requests, electronic-signature records, and opt-out preferences.
  • Device and internet activity, such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, timestamps, cookies, and security signals.

3. Sources

We collect information from you; your devices; credit bureaus and other consumer-reporting agencies; identity, income, fraud-prevention, banking, and verification providers; service providers; public records; and other sources authorized or permitted by law.

4. How we use information

  • Receive, evaluate, underwrite, and respond to a request for credit.
  • Verify identity, income, eligibility, and application information.
  • Prepare disclosures, fund and service loans, process payments, and communicate about an application or account.
  • Prevent fraud, protect our systems, comply with law, and maintain required records.
  • Improve our website and services and honor communication choices.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us process applications, verify information, host systems, communicate, prevent fraud, provide professional services, fund or service loans, or perform other functions on our behalf; to consumer-reporting agencies as permitted by law; to government, regulatory, legal, or safety recipients when required or permitted; and in connection with a corporate transaction. Service providers may use information only for contracted or legally permitted purposes.

Mobile opt-in and consent information is not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. It may be provided to vendors solely to deliver communications you requested or consented to receive.

6. Security and retention

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information. We retain information as reasonably necessary for underwriting, servicing, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and communications choices

We and our providers may use cookies and similar technology for operation, security, analytics, and permitted measurement. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. A marketing opt-out does not prevent legally permitted transactional or servicing messages.

8. Privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to appeal a denied request, subject to legal exceptions. 9. Children, changes, and contact
